On April 7, Nanjing Mayor Li Zhongjun visited the Ever-Glory Innovation and Research Ecosystem Community to see how the local robotics industry is developing. The focus of the day was building a modern industrial system that connects innovation, industry, capital and talent more closely.
Mr. Edward Kang, Founder of Ever-Glory Fashion Group, welcomed the delegation and walked the mayor through the park's development plan, tenant portfolio and industrial positioning.
Mayor Li reviewed how the park is progressing, how it's attracting businesses, and where the local robotics cluster stands. He stressed the need for better supporting services, higher-quality projects and closer cooperation across the industrial chain.
The community is built around one idea: bringing industry, R&D, capital and application scenarios together, so technology companies can move from innovation to commercialization faster. Within it, the Embodied Intelligence Robotics Industrial Park targets the key parts of the robotics value chain — core components, robotic joints, sensors, motors and specialized robotic systems.
The park runs a cluster-based model, combining targeted investment, supply chain development and efforts to attract leading technology companies. So far, 12 companies have signed agreements to set up in the park, covering key parts of the embodied intelligence ecosystem: six-axis force sensors, robotic joint systems, aerospace-grade motors and high-load specialty robots. Among them are Shenyuansheng Intelligence, Inx Intelligence, Silai Intelligence and Wujing Power.
For Ever-Glory, the ecosystem is more than an extension of its traditional manufacturing business. It reflects a broader view of industrial collaboration, technology innovation and supply chain development. Over the years, the company has built strong capabilities in apparel R&D, manufacturing, global supply chain management and industrial resource coordination. As manufacturing moves toward digitalization and intelligent production, those capabilities are finding their way into new, technology-driven industries.
The Ever-Glory Innovation Hub will keep strengthening its infrastructure and enterprise services, and do a better job of connecting technology, talent, capital and industrial resources. The goal is to help embodied intelligence and robotics companies move from R&D and product validation into commercialization and scaled production.
Ever-Glory will keep applying its experience in industrial integration, supply chain collaboration and enterprise services to support innovative companies, and to help Nanjing grow as a leading hub for embodied intelligence and advanced robotics.
