On July 9, the grand opening ceremony of Ever Glory Xiangcheng Industrial Base (Phase I) was held.Liu Tifeng, Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People’s Congress, Zhang Wei, Vice Mayor of the Municipal Government, Xiong Xianghua, Vice Chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) of the city, and other government leaders attended the ceremony.Also present were Kang Yihua, Founder of Ever Glory, Yan Xiaodong, General Manager of the Innovation Center, Kang Yunsheng, Chairman of Shanghai Brand Retail Division, and other senior executives of the company.The ceremony was presided over by Sun Jiajun, Chairman of Ever Glory.
At 11:19, Liu Tifeng, Director of the Standing Committee of Xiangcheng Municipal People’s Congress, announced:“Ever Glory Xiangcheng Base Phase I is officially opened and put into production, and Phase II construction starts simultaneously!”
Vice Mayor Zhang Wei of Xiangcheng City extended warm congratulations on the opening of the base.He highly affirmed the project’s positive role in promoting local industrial development and stressed that all functional departments should provide proactive services to support and ensure the smooth progress of the project.
Xiangcheng Base is Ever Glory’s ninth base project, following Nanjing Jiangning, Nanjing Qixia, Suzhou Kunshan, Tianjin Wuqing, Anhui Chuzhou, Anhui Fengyang, Phnom Penh (Cambodia) and Hai Duong (Vietnam).Xiangcheng Base will be committed to building a modern garment industrial ecosystem, integrating five core functions: innovative R&D, supply chain management, intelligent manufacturing, quality control and supporting services into a comprehensive industrial base.
